Glad ,Freedom Rider ,Empty pages to pick but that few , revived that traffic sound that we all followed so , the Bass Lines, so special and unique of traffic´s sound together with Jim Capaldi´sclockwork Funky Latinized rithms on the drums and the hounting Bass Flute and Sax of Chriss Wood in this record changed the way of the music for me , thank you Señor Winwood.............jorge Spiteri
JBMD is an 11 out of 10. I have always, however, been upset with the production of the album. Empty Pages is truly one of my all time favorite SW songs. But the bass is so distorted in the middle solo, it's tough to crank up this outstanding tune! Anyone else experience this? Capaldi's snares are brilliant, but that damn bass muddles the tune always to my chagrin...

This is one of the best albums released in any era and the inclusion of the live performance tracks from the 1970 sessions should make for a great edition. The original album when first released qualified for a much better rating than 8 out of 10 so the additional tracks here, coupled with the re-mastered originals should be way better than that assessment of the musical content. As a listener and follower of SW and Traffic's music for more years than I care to remember look forward big style to this release.

Why post a review with innacuracies? How sloppy.
Good review. I am all the more looking forward to delivery. Just wonder why only an 8 of 10 rating for what I expect will be an outstanding release.
