"Steve Winwood announces he is set to tour Europe with his band in September and October"
Opening in Vienna, Austria on September 29th, the tour will include shows in Hungary, Italy, Germany, France, Ireland & the UK.
Steve is currently featured as special guest on tour with Carlos Santana in North America, after a recent whistle stop tour in June with longtime friend Eric Clapton.
His latest release on Island Records, Steve Winwood: Revolutions, is available now in both single and multi-disc formats, and features highlights from Steve's 40+ year career. In support of this release, Steve Winwood is the focus of a recent BBC documentary which premiered June 18th on BBC 4.

The Cork concert is on the famous Jazz weekend festival. The billing is for STEVE WINWOOD
plus YURI HONING’S WIRED PARADISE. Does this mean that Stevie will be changing his set for this concert. I hope not, dont eant to hear too much Jazz based music. Just want to hear Stevie doing his standards. Any info on this or is there some contact on this site to find this out?

Very nice event-places, small and intimate, I think the acoustic will be brilliant...

Excellent news ! Having seen play Steve with Clapton at Wembley, and at the Crossroads Guitar Festival, and now solo makes this the icing on the cake of what has been an incredible year ! Bloody spiffing !
