Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood have just completed a tour of Europe together, backed by an all-star band consisting of Willie Weeks, Steve Gadd, Chris Stainton, Michelle White, and Sharon John.
June 13 was the final show of the EC/SW European Tour in Istanbul. Check out the set list from Vienna
Fans have been treated to many rarities, including 'Midland Maniac' from Steve's 1977 solo debut album, and 'The Shape I'm In', a classic from The Band.

I have been a huge fan for the last 20years (I am 37 now) and after travelling to GB or germany several times to see you in concert live, we were sooo happy that you finally came to vienna for a show!
I enjoyed every second and hope you will come back soon again!

Did the right thing to stand. We travelled all the way from Edinburgh, paid top price for the seated area at the back. So far away from the action. Where we were the sound mix totally lacked the lead vocals behind the organ and guitar mix. And were totally swamped by the backing vocals when they came in! So bad that my got out of his seat to complain to the sound mixer. As an ex BBC sound man I cannot believe that given the size of the venue that there was no sound enhancement or video walls placed behing the camera tower to give those that had paid premiere prices a more pleasurable experience. This trip was planned to be a trip of a lifetime, a great performance it might have been, but I left totally frustrated and disappointed,sadly!
Thanks so much for a most amazing show yesterday in Vienna !! Loved the whole concert, it was fantastic to hear "While you see a chance" and of course all the other masterpieces, "Gimme some loving" - it ROCKED !!!! :))) Stunning performance on the Hammond on "Voodoo Chile", most fantastic voice :)))) And last but not least my personal "most wanted"... "Dear Mr. Fantasy" ... did you know Roger Hodgson sang that song at the audition for Supertramp ?? I think that's awesome :))) Please come back soon, Mr. Winwood, Vienna loves you :))) Christine
Back from Munich...Great concert, everything was perfect, even the weather. (Eric mentioned the sunshine and the good feedback from the fans!!) Had good seats, but I preferred to stand near the stage with the real fans...I think in Munich the real fans are standing, because the seats are far away. This summer evening was really magic, even our taxi-driver came just from the concert, and my Swiss friends were trilled...I'm still happy in a raining Zürich now...Thanks Steve, thanks Eric, thanks to the great fans in Munich! This was a marvelous week-end...
