Glad that more people are realizing the many talents that Steve has and the influence he has on his fellow musicians. He is at the top of his game and brings his bandmates along with him. Thanks for the good news.

The Swiss press wrote: The true star from this evening was Steve Winwood! He could animate Eric Clapton to give his best...

Just back from Basel, was in front, an amazing mixture from older and younger people there. Breathtaking, heart-stopping this concert...Steve was brilliant, on piano, organ and guitar. Amazing gimme some lovin with Erics guitarsolo, brilliant also Maniac and Voodoo Chiile. Thank you Steve an Eric for this marvelous concert. Eric locked very tired, hope he has some time to relax.
(Bought also tickets in Zurich, would be good when fan tickets could be shipped to Europe, door opening was at 6 p.m. and the presale-ticket-counter-window opened at the same time)

Oh man I can't wait after reading these messages on Steve and Eric. I am on the other side of the pond in Philadelphia and I am looking forward to seeing Steve with Carlos Santana in Atlantic City this summer. Been a while since I saw Steve live ( would you believe it was Blind Faith). This show will be amazing!!!

thomasbirch, in Switzerland Eric has now more fans than Steve, absurdly...This was different in the seventies, now people here don't know Steves newer Albums. I'm sure this will change, people will rediscover Trafic and Steves masterpices...

A superb gig - Steve deserved more applause but I suppose Clapton does have more fans so they probably just outnumbered those of us there for Steve. 'Can't Find My Way Home' acoustically was brilliant, Steve's guitar playing throughout was excellent, although whenever he took a solo, I noticed the fools filming for the projection screens showed everyone Clapton instead!

The pair of them played and sang marvellously, 'Voodoo Chile' was as wonderful as everyone's been saying, and 'Dear Mr Fantasy' was superb. As was 'Glad'. And 'Pearly Queen'. You might guess that I'm rather fond of Steve's time in Traffic!

By the way, Berkin, 'The Shape I'm In' isn't a Clapton song - it's by The Band, written by their guitarist/songwriter Robbie Robertson. And what a great version they did!

    Wonderful show.
